Pet Photos That Tell A Story

Why do we take so many photos of our kids and our animals? Well the obvious answer is to preserve the memories. In addition to making a record of what our puppies looked like at 4 months of age we have the opportunity to actually tell a story with photos. The best photos are the ones that do create a sense of time and place. The images below in the slideshow are not the highest quality images on the planet or the best photos I have ever taken of my Scotts, but I really love these shots because they remind me of how our little Pixel had the habit of chewing up sticks when she was just a wee pup. When you spend an afternoon shooting your pets think about what sort of story will be present later. It could be the story of a favorite toy, a new winter coat, it is often the little things that we remember the best.
